benjamin burgess went above and beyond to get me into the car that I wanted very close to the price I wanted. He changed my opinion on car dealerships into something positive I had never liked visiting dealerships until now. Because I commute for work I have purchased plenty of cars over the years and this was my first Volkswagen thanks to the experience I had i am positive my next car will be a Volkswagen.Thank you Benjamin it was an absolute pleasure doing business with you. I recently moved to Salem and have only just started utilizing them for my vehicles needs. As a woman and a single mom to a three year old girl you have to be careful about who you chose to be your mechanic but not once have they ever made me feel uncomfortable or tried to take advantage or overcharge me. They walked me through every single thing they recommended and did on my vehicle, sometimes twice if I didn't quite understand. They provided me with a very high quality of service and have done the utmost to help me and work around my work needs and daughters school schedule. I had to have my vehicle towed to them while I was on shift and they immediately worked with me and gave me a rental. And when they called to inform me my vehicle was ready to be picked up I was unsure if I could make it on time before they closed due to needing to pick up my daughter and without even a second thought they immediately said hey no worries, you can come by tomorrow if you need to. So if you need any work done by their service dept ask for Mike or Jesse because they are absolute gentlemen and extremely professional and I would 10/10 recommend them.

Buying a new car with the numbers you are looking for in order to be able to afford it is always a pain no matter how much the sale rep' tries to please you, negotiating is never easy...Although I came in late in the evening Kain Kammerer my sales rep' was very patient and tried to answer every question I asked (I asked a lot of questions) after returning for the 2nd time this week after a lot of researching vehicles, I finally decided to test drive and decide to buy. He did a great job while working with me. Final step was with Alex Alvarado and he certainly knows what's he is doing, he made the last and final steps of the paperwork easy. It was a pleasure working with him. They both have great customer service and after being a repeated costumer, I am glad I went back. Great job to both!

The team stayed late after hours to finish the sale. Never pressured. Had a few cars in the same area I was looking for and helped me chose the best match. Thanks for the help on our new car.

Our salesman Alex was amazing! His knowledge about the vehicles was superior, he was honest, to the point and got us the best deal possible. We will definitely be going back and recommending him to our friends and family!

Yet another great Lithia dealership! The entire staff was a pleasure to work with, but Miguel our salesman was top notch. They had the car we wanted, and had it parked up front when we arrived. Miguel was incredibly knowledgeable, and when it came to negotiate he went to bat and made the deal happen. Would recommend anyone in the market to make the trip. They have a huge used car selection as well!

Great experience so far! After a bad experience at a sister dealership in Portland, we drove out to Salem to look at a truck I'd seen online. Lexi our sales person did a great job. The lot price was higher than the price I had seen on the internet, and they honored the online price. Didn't feel pressured, negotiations were easy and I feel we got a good deal. The finance team worked EXTRA hard with us to get us a good rate despite some recent rocky credit events, and we drove off with a truck the same day.About a month in the check engine light came on. Fuel sensor, not a big deal, but we wanted to get it fixed while still under warranty. Took it to the sister dealership in Portland, had a horrible experience there. Lexi our sales person was super fantastic about helping us out through that. So, I guess even though we live in Portland, we'll just drive our car down to Salem for service since we fond this dealership to be much easier to work with both in sales and service departments.

Hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. I did not have even one minute of feeling uncomfortable. Most of the time when purchasing a car at some point I feel stressed out and manipulated. Not here. I felt at ease and in good hands the entire time. (Even while negotiating price!!) Dane was hilarious and felt like we knew him for years after just a couple of minutes. David was also great and explained so much about our new car. (He was actually the previous owner of the car and it was nice to know all the details.) Alex was our finance guy and was speedy, efficient and friendly. I live in Happy Valley/Damascus and will for sure make the drive to VW of Salem to buy my next car.

We contacted Dane at Salem VW for our first on-line car buying experience. We found the exact car we were looking for and Dane made the entire experience very reassuring. We appreciated the many detail photos of the car and working to resolve all our concerns as promised. We drove 7 hours to pick up the cart and it was everything we expected. Dane and the sales manager Andrew have also made personal efforts to insure our service after the sale was taken care of.
