We just woke up to the beautiful truck we bought yesterday from Volkswagen of Salem and are just thrilled. The entire experience was streamlined from beginning to end, with Omar’s friendly and prompt service outside to Alex’s financial expertise inside making the buying process both easy and carefree. We would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a good quality used vehicle (and more than likely a new one as well, there were some seriously gorgeous VW’s most everywhere we looked). Gregg Bell and Mike Lunsford showed extreme professionalism and knowledge when helping me with my vehicle. They showed me step by step what each part of the service on my vehicle meant. I hate the whole car buying process and I was recommended to come here by family and I have to say they made the process really easy. We just finished purchasing our second vehicle from them and again they made the process really easy. They are fair and make the negotiating process easy. The staff are friendly and courteous as well.

Fast, friendly, helpful and competitive prices!

Salesperson was friendly and personable, worked really hard to get me the car I wanted without trying to upsell for something I couldn't afford. So happy I came here to buy a new car!

This was my 3rd purchase from this dealership and it was such a fast and easy transaction. We were in and out of there in under 2 hours and that was with trading in a car and leaving with a new one. Everyone was friendly and nice including our sales guy Alex and our finance guy as well (who I think was also named Alex). Both were easy to talk to, honest and left us feeling no pressure.. I had a horrible experience with our previous finance guy Mike Whitzel in 2019 when we bought an Altas. I literally had just gas a baby like 5 days prior and he seemed disguusted by children, was condescending, rude and should probably find a job that doesn't entail working with the public. Mike was so rude and pressuresome that I purchased the sealant that is offered and never came back to have it put on because just the thought of having to be in the vicinity of such an awful human would have made me have PTSD. This was enough to make me never want to come back, but I am so glad I did and had a completely opposite experience this time. So thank you Alex and Alex for being nice humans and redeeming my faith in this dealership!

I am not one to write reviews but this is a must. I bought a car today from Volkswagen of Salem. Great car. Great price. But that’s not why I am writing this. Simply put, the sales experience was phenomenal. I dealt with Eric Textrum and will deal with him again. No pressure. Informed. Great conversation. If he didn’t know the answer, he found out. There was no upsell. I told him the three cars I was interested in and we drove all three. Then we focused on the one I wanted and made it happen.There was no back and forth. We had a ballpark interest rate but he said the finance department would try to get a better rate. They did. They were able to cut that rate in it in half and then some!I purposely went with this dealership because of the reviews. There is a reason they have a great reputation. I spoke with a couple who was there to get their 3rd car from Volkswagen of Salem. They said they send friends and family. I will do the same.The entire process took less than two and half hours. It was a Saturday. They were busy. I was very happy with that.

Gregg is absolutely phenomenal. He greets me on a first name basis (even more impressive when everyone is wearing masks) and goes out of his way to deliver personal, fast, and customer-friendly service every single time. Gregg is a model example of the long lost art of "customer first" service. I will bring my car to VW of Salem every time for service as long as Gregg works there.

Our salesperson< Kain, was fabulous. The most honest car salesman we've ever met. He was kind, helpful, informed, and informative. Finance, on the other hand, needs some work. It took over an hour to meet with them becasue the previous customer was having trouble finding money, or something.

Benji was so helpful and so nice and I got my car for a great price today. And Chris was awesome at keeping in touch with me before I traveled to get my car. They're super friendly and it was an awesome first buying experience for me! They really make sure you know what you're getting and what you do and don't really need in your payment plan.

Absolutely the best car buying experience we've ever had! Benji was beyond helpful and personable. We will definitely be coming back. Nobody wants to spend new years eve buying a car but let me tell you it definitely was the best day in 2020 for sure not just because of the vehicle but the staff as well. I can't express enough how much we appreciate Benji @ VW!
