We bought a truck from them. It was such a good experience, a month later we came back and bough a car. Salesman John Lillig is the best. He made the car buying experience a great one. I would 100% go buy another vehicle from him and Lithia Volkswagen.

I was a first time buyer and I was a little nervous walking into the dealership. I didn’t know what to expect and did not want to feel pressured. Shortly after walking in I felt more excited and comfortable. My salesman Jacob was great and he made the whole process more fun than I could have thought. I am now the owner of a 2015 vw Jetta and I could not be more excited! Truly an awesome place and if I ever have the chance to go back again in the future I will!

We worked with Jesse R and recommend him to anyone wanting to work with a professional. He worked out a deal with us over the phone so we didn’t waste our time driving to Salem from pdx. He was patient with us when we couldn’t decided between 2 cars and never made us feel like he pushed personal opinions on us. He even stayed late after closing on a Saturday night explaining all the features of our new car in detail. Truely a great experience- nothing we have experienced in the past from other dealerships.

I had a great experience with this dealership. James the Sales Manager took care of me and I got a better price than the Beaverton location, or any others for the same car. They came and picked me up so I didn’t have to arrange for someone to come with me to drive my old car back to Beaverton. It was cut and dry-lowest price from the start, no haggling, no back and forth. No sales pressure. I was in and out in no time, and am extremely pleased with the transaction and my purchase. I love my new car! I would recommend Volkswagen of Salem to anyone!

Excellent service all around. The showroom was well kept with nice amenities while you wait. Josh provided great customer service as well.

Today we went in to buy a car super last minute and we were helped by Koda via email over the weekend and Tanya helped us through the test drive and buying process. They went out if their way to help us during the waiting process, making my little sister and myself hot cocoa and brought us snacks (it was early in the am and we hadn't eaten yet either). It was a pleasant and exciting experience that definitely made the morning much less stressful. Will go back again.

My wife and I purchased a used Chevy Traverse and had an excellent purchase experience that frankly surprised me. The Salesman, General Manager and Business Manager were all very good to work with, and made purchasing a vehicle a pleasant experience, and one that I felt we got a very fair deal..

I went to Volkswagen of Salem in March 2018 to purchase a truck. I came into it knowing what I wanted and looking for a good value. I'm not a fan of negotiations and playing the car buying game and all that, I wanted straightforward, no-nonsense, fact-based service and I think we got exactly that from John Lillig. He met us at the door, listened to what we wanted, and immediately started with exactly that. We looked at several trucks meeting my specifications. John did a great job of answering our questions with knowledgeable and honest answers and he didn't try to oversell us or sell something we didn't want. We purchased a truck at asking price because it was fair, which is a big deal to me. John was easy to work with during the process and we struck up many conversations about life, unrelated to car buying. He gave us space when we needed it and never rushed us. He even sat with us for a time while we waited for the financing process just to have some coffee and chat. Time will tell if the truck was a good one, but I am confident Volkswagen of Salem was honest. I have only worked with John Lillig but if all their salespeople are like him I will have no problem returning for our next vehicle.

The service at this dealership is first-rate. I am always greeted promptly. Staff are friendly and very thorough. When service is done, a detailed explanation is given of what was done. If there are issues uncovered during the service, options are given of how to go forward with repair. Great team of workers here.

Easily the best buying experience I've ever had. Internet sales and Jaime the manager were amazing! I called on a used truck, did 90% of the deal over the phone (I'm 2 hours away), showed up, drove the truck, and signed the papers. I was at the dealership for less than a hour. I'll be going back
